Goldendoodle Puppy Contract & Health Guarantee

This is an agreement between breeder/seller, Adrienne Barnes and buyer of said puppy. The puppy born on __________ to ______________SIRE and ______________DAM is the puppy covered under this contract. The total price paid for the puppy is $_______.

The guarantee is as follows:

There are no health problems or diseases present in the parents or in their families to our knowledge. We certify that each puppy is in excellent health at the time of purchase. In the event that a genetic (inherited) health condition should arise between the ages of birth to 24 months of age, seller agrees to replace the puppy with a similar puppy in sex and color when available. In order to receive a replacement, the original puppy must be returned to us if requested. Sufficient proof must be provided by a licensed veterinarian that the fault is genetic and life threatening. In the case of hip problems, we require a copy of the OFA or PennHip results that state the dogs hips rate a poor or fair condition. No warranty is made for hip problems in dogs that are allowed to become overweight or have sired or whelped a litter. We reserve the right to have the dog checked by our veterinarian at our expense and any diagnosis reached is final. Any owner not wanting a replacment will receive reimbursment up to the purchase price of the puppy.

The buyer promises to keep the dog in a proper manner. Goldendoodles thrive on human companionship, proper discipline, exercise and love. For further reading on training and raising your puppy, we recommend The Art of Raising A Puppy written by The Monks of New Skete. We have tried to raise our puppies using their socialization techniques and find that the book provides some of the best advice on raising and training your new puppy.

*Feeding Schedule:

The puppies are eating Iams Smart Puppy for Large Breeds dry dog food. They eat three times a day at 7 am, noon and 6 pm. Keeping a schedule will help ease housetraining. However, you may adjust the schedule to fit yours.

*Vaccinations:

Your puppy has received it’s first combination vaccine at 6 weeks of age. The puppy was also wormed at 4 & 6 weeks as well as a day before coming to your home. The buyer has been provided with a health record listing the type of vaccinations and worming and the date administered. Buyer should take the health records with them to the vet of their choice when continuing the required vaccinations schedule.

If at any time you find that you would have to give up your puppy, we ask that you find a responsible, loving home for it. In the event that you cannot find such a home, you may surrender the dog to us at your expense. This is the only way we can assure that our puppies have good homes and do not end up in a shelter or abusive home.

Please feel free to contact us with questions or concerns regarding your puppy.
